Nov 5, 2012 More Mesopotamia

Happy Monday!  We opened up class with some strange news about an elephant that speaks Korean!  He puts his trunk in his mouth and makes different sounds to mimic the human voice.  He has a vocabulary of six words.

We got back into the topic of Mesopotamia.  In the video last week a girl was making a journal entry about what life was like in Sumer, the city-state she lived in in Mesopotamia.  So today, everyone made journal entries about what life is like in Pulaski, WI.  We had a lot of entries about Polka Days!

Then we spent the rest of class reading about Mesopotamia from our textbooks.  Here are the notes that we have completed so far!  If you are missing anything from the notes you took make sure to fill it in.

We will continue with notes tomorrow and will fill in a map of the region.  Don't forget WKCE testing tomorrow!
