Back to blogging! It's been a while since our last entry because of thanksgiving break, so here we go....
We opened today with strange news which was about a new millipede found that has 750 legs! And the legs have claws! They also spin their own clothing by creating silk from the long hairs on their back.....I'll buy my silk in stores thank you.
We had our student jigsaw presentations today. What this is, is the section in our book on Babylon and Assyria was broken up and each student group got a section to read about and present. Students presented the main ideas they took from their section so that everyone else would end up with completed notes on that section.
Tomorrow we will finish up these presentations and then will review the section to make sure everyone has all of the information they need.
