Homework: Current Events!
Can you believe it's November already! Sounds like everyone had a fun and safe Halloween!
We continued on today learning more about Mesopotamia. We reviewed what we had learned yesterday and then watched the following video which gave a ton of information in a really clear way!

After the video we discussed and took notes on the inventions and ideas that came from the people of Mesopotamia. The consensus was that they were much more civilized than any of us had ever imagined and contributed a TON to human civilization!
Some of what the Mesopotamian's invented or ideas they developed were: the wheel, a zodiac calendar, writing, mud bricks, levees, irrigation systems, the plow, taxes, slaves, laws, kings, and many more!
