Today in class we continued taking notes on the leaders of Egypt. Today we discussed further the different dynasties and time periods of rule that marked Egypt's history. We discussed the Old, Middle, and New Kingdoms. The important thing to remember about these is that they represent time periods NOT places. The notes from today can be found here.
Tomorrow we will finish taking notes on this section and will discuss what we will be working on to learn more about the pharaohs.
Something we will work on this week will be practicing discussing the process of creating a mummy in detail since you will need to do this for your student led conferences. So you might want to look over your mummification webquest sheets to brush up on the process!
