Today in class we began talking about the rulers of Ancient Egypt, also known as pharaohs. We took notes from our textbook Cornell style. The pharaoh notes are attached here.
For homework, you need to create a picture vocab sheet with the four terms below
- Pharaoh: The title of the kings of Ancient Egypt
- Dynasty: A series of rulers from the same family or ethnic group
- Absolute power: Complete control over the people
- Regent: Someone who rules for a child until the child is old enough to rule
You also need to write a summary of the notes we took at the bottom of the page.
