1. Mesopotamia impacted the world in many ways. One way is that they invented writing to keep track of records. Another is that they invented ways to travel more efficiently, and if they didn't come up with these ways to travel we may not have the cars and technology we do today. Finally, they came up with laws and taxes, and we use the same concepts today. These are some of the ways the Mesopotamian empires affected our world
ReplyDelete2.I think that the Sumerians had the biggest impact on our world today out of the four groups we studied. I think this because since Sumer was the first of the civilizations of Mesopotamia, it was a successful empire and it made the others think it was a good place to live. Along with this the Sumerians made wheels, cuneiform and many other inventions. If they had not come up with cuneiform, the library in Nineveh would not have been around to tell us about the earlier civilizations, the Phoenicians would have probably not come up with the alphabet, and we probably wouldn't be typing with these letters. All in all, I think that the Sumerians had the biggest impact on our world today.
