Sept 21, 2012 Current Events

Let me say I was SO impressed with this weeks current events!  The stories were so interesting!  Below is an example of part of Quinn's presentation he created for an article he read about bringing back the Woolly Mammoth!  Scientists in Russia discovered a complete Woolly Mammoth preserved in ice.  They believe the remains may still have have a living DNA cell, so they are hoping to recreate the species.  So Amazing!

Sara also showed us an awesome new invention called the Popinator!  You say "Pop" and it sends a piece of popcorn flying towards your mouth.  Definitely want one of those!

We took our vocab quiz today which seemed to go very well for everyone!  A lot of you used the study tools in yesterday's post which was awesome!

We finished up class with CNN Student News.

Monday is Packer apparel day so wear your favorite Packer gear!  Have a good weekend!
